Join the California Hydrogen Convention to cement the state as a global leader in clean energy
The California Hydrogen Convention will bring together leaders from government, industry, labor unions, national labs, NGOs, and more to jump start the market for renewable hydrogen and establish a powerful ecosystem that aims to reduce pollution and act as a catalyst for addressing climate change.
Featuring an exhibition highlighting the latest technologies and services, alongside an industry-leading strategic conference, in-depth technical sessions, and workshops, this event will serve as a platform for expediting the path to achieve the state’s aggressive climate goals. Simultaneously, it will foster partnerships and facilitate business development for companies and organizations involved in hydrogen projects, policymaking and driving the industry forward.

The White House announced that California will receive up to $1.2 billion in Department of Energy (DOE) funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to advance renewable hydrogen production and market development.
The funding will be allocated to California’s Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES), a public-private partnership led by the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, the University of California, the California State Building Trades Council, and the Renewables 100 Policy Institute.
ARCHES aims to promote hydrogen production for the power sector, heavy-duty transportation, ports, aviation, and agriculture. The initiative has faced scrutiny from environmental groups regarding project transparency and concerns about potential pollution.
